About Ruth

I started hairdressing at the age of 15 years old and continued to enhance my skill set, working in salons in London, Epping, Bishops Stortford and Harlow. I built up an extensive clientele base and opened my own Old Harlow-based hair and beauty salon in 2004. I now have a home salon, in Church Langley, after selling my shop in March 2020.

I have always believed in refining my skills and abilities and have, over the years, enrolled in numerous courses with only the best colour houses. I like to keep up to date with the latest trends, while still appreciating and practising traditional hairdressing styles. I will only use premium products that are individually considered for all of my clients, the brands I use include Wella, Goldwell and ghd.

I am qualified in manicures, pedicures, spray tanning and ear piercing. I am also fully insured.

I am a member of the Freelance Hairdressers' Association.
